Hi there! I’m Candi.
I’m a devoted follower of Jesus, a spiritual counselor, author, prophetic voice, and creative at heart. But more than anything, I’m a daughter of God who loves helping people encounter Jesus in a personal way, experience healing and freedom, and discover who He created them to be.
For more than 30 years, I’ve been drawn to the places where Scripture, creativity, prayer, and the presence of God come together. I began writing Christian meditations many years ago, weaving narrative, Scripture, music, and sound into experiences designed to help people slow down, quiet their hearts, and meet with Jesus.
That same desire eventually led me into healing prayer and spiritual counseling.
Today, through Spiritual Renewal sessions, I have the privilege of coming alongside people as they process places of pain, uncover lies and spiritual strongholds, hear from Jesus, and experience healing, renewal, and greater freedom. These Holy Spirit-led encounters are some of the greatest joys of my life.
Over the years, the Lord has allowed me to learn from wonderful mentors, serve in healing rooms, and receive additional training in Sozo and Advanced Sozo. But some of my greatest lessons have simply come through years of sitting with people, praying together, listening for the Holy Spirit, and watching Jesus meet people in ways only He can.
I currently offer Christian spiritual counseling through Testimony Life and serve as a Shepherd, spiritual counselor, and prophetic voice with NewSong, a collective of micro-churches passionate about discipleship, outreach, and extravagant worship of Jesus.
How Life in the Spirit Began
The ministry itself has been a journey.
What began in 2005 through healing rooms and a small soaking ministry gradually grew into something much larger. As God brought mature believers together who were actively growing in and operating in their spiritual gifts, we began incorporating prayer, prophetic ministry, Scripture, art, music, soaking prayer, and other creative expressions into spaces where people could encounter His presence.
In 2012, that ministry became Life in the Spirit’s Prayer and Healing Center. My dear friend and ministry partner Kristi Lancer came alongside me, and over the years God continued bringing others who shared the vision.
By 2019, the ministry had grown into what we called the Spiritual SPA, with an incredible team of approximately 45 people serving through many different spiritual and creative gifts.
But in 2020, God surprised me.
I sensed Jesus asking me to lay everything down: my plans, titles, ministries, resources, and even the ministry I loved so much.
So I did.
I closed the doors and followed Him into a new season.
That surrender became a turning point in my life and ultimately led me to NewSong.Life, where my understanding of a healthy church began to expand. I began to see church less as a place we attend and more as a family of believers who actively participate in the life of the body. At NewSong, I experienced a smaller, relational expression of church where people are known, encouraged, challenged, and given opportunities to contribute. Rather than a few people doing the ministry while everyone else watches, there is an expectation that each person carries something valuable to offer for the building up of the body.
That experience has deeply shaped the way I now view ministry, community, spiritual gifts, and discipleship—and it has influenced the way Life in the Spirit continues to grow today.
Then, one year later, the Lord began stirring the vision again.
The ministry has continued to grow and evolve, including its name. Today, it is known as The Outpouring by Life in the Spirit.
But the heart has always remained the same:
To create a place where people can come into God’s rest, encounter God, receive prayer and encouragement, experience healing and renewal, and discover the beautiful ways the Holy Spirit wants to move through their lives.
Our team includes believers from different Christian churches and backgrounds, each bringing their unique gifts and serving together in unity.
Unity beyond church walls. I love that!
Life in the Spirit exists to bring hope and healing to the body of Christ, helping people experience inner peace, personal freedom, and greater wholeness in Jesus.
It has been an incredible journey of surrender, growth, creativity, and unexpected turns with Jesus.
This story is still being written.

A Little More About Me
Beyond ministry, one of God’s greatest gifts in my life is family. I’m blessed with a wonderful husband who encourages and champions me, three amazing daughters who bring so much joy to my life, and dear friends and ministry partners who continually remind me of the beauty of the family of God.
I’m also a creative and prophetic voice, and everything I create flows from prayer, Scripture, and time in God’s presence.
