When the Ground Disappears: Trusting God in Transition

In December, the Lord showed me that February 2026 would be a time of transition and relocation for many.

Twice, I was given a vision of houses flying through the air. The third time, I watched a house fall from the sky and land on a witch—like in The Wizard of Oz. His message was clear:

Many of us will find ourselves in a storm this season—but this storm is not meant to harm you, only to carry you.

Many have felt the intensity of spiritual opposition in this last season, but God is bringing exposure, and overthrowing Jezebel’s assignments.

Many will be taken by the power of God into new lands and new locations.

It may feel as though you’re caught in a whirlwind with no control.

The ground may disappear without warning.

Your plans may scatter like leaves.

But this is not chaos—this is holy transition.

God is now paving the way for new connections—building bridges, restoring broken relationships, and opening doors you could not have accessed on your own. This is a season of intentional kingdom building, where God is aligning people for purpose. Be attentive and deliberate with relationships, because who you build with now will help shape what lasts in the days ahead.

Faith in Action

  1. Allow God to shake you free from everything that has been holding you back.
  2. Embrace humility—open your heart to connection, restoration, and healing.
  3. Lay down every false security. Release anything you are clinging to and place your trust fully in Him.
  4. Lean into God’s power. Trust His goodness to lift you into places you could never reach by your own strength.

Deuteronomy 6:10–12 “The LORD your God will soon bring you into the land he swore to give you when he made a vow to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land with large, prosperous cities that you did not build. The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant. When you have eaten your fill in this land, 12be careful not to forget the LORD, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt.

Genesis 26:2,3 And the LORD appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you. Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father.

My Personal Testimony

Today, I am honestly blown away and deeply encouraged by this word—because I believed it was for you. I didn’t realize how much it was also for me.

For the past few months, I have felt suspended in midair—with nowhere to land.

Extremely uncomfortable in the natural, yet completely safe in the Spirit.

After ten months of intense battle, we believed we were stepping into a long-awaited promise: purchasing a home in a new land. The house went into escrow and was scheduled to close within a week—fulfilling multiple dreams and prophetic words.

Then, last weekend at our leaders’ retreat, I had a profound encounter.

As I sat at the altar, I asked the Lord:

“What must I lay down to become a hundredfold fruit-bearing person?”

Jesus answered me with two words:

Stability.

Security.

I knew immediately—they were tied to the miracle house. 🏠

We cannot place our security or stability in houses, finances, or outcomes.

God is our home. God is our source.

So I counted the cost.

If He wanted the house, He could have it.

HE IS WORTH IT ALL!

I laid the house down before Him—

not really thinking He would take the promise.

The very next day, we learned the seller’s circumstances had drastically changed.

If we forced the sale, a 92-year-old woman and her daughter would be displaced, with nowhere to go.

Clearly, we would never do that—nor is that how we want to begin a pilgrimage into a new land.

Our lease had already ended in January.

Once again, I found myself suspended in the air—uncomfortable, uncertain, bewildered—yet assured.

God Will Provide

Not knowing about my God encounter, two sisters from two different states sent me the exact same prophetic word and Scripture:

“God will provide.” — Genesis 22:8–14

“On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”

Just as Abraham laid down the very promise he waited for,

God revealed Himself as Jehovah Jireh—the One who sees ahead and provides.

Genesis 22:8–14

“Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together. When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called the name of that place, “The LORD will provide”; as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”

And the angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies, and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

Learning to live midair

When the ground disappears; Trusting God in TransitionFinally, brothers and sisters, I want to encourage you with this:

Tear down every idol.

Withhold nothing from the Lord.

Lay it all down—whatever the cost.

He is worth it all.

And no matter how scary or uncomfortable the moment may feel,

there is no safer, more beautiful place to be than in the hands of God.

I am deeply encouraged by what God is speaking right now, and I pray this word encourages you too.

If this resonates with you in any way, I’d love to hear from you—please share.

Update:

Just after releasing this post—God provided the ram! 🐏 The sellers have decided it is better for them to take the money and move in with family! 😭🙌🏻🐏🤸🏽‍♀️ HOW AWESOME IS OUR GOD?!

As I read this some thoughts came to me. I have been praying God would show my estranged son truth and who we are. That the lord would somehow remind him how much he loves him and how real he once was to him. I feel
Led now to not just pray for him to see the truth but to do a deep work in him. That he won’t just return to who he was but to a place of renewed awakening and deeper understanding and love in our relationship but mostly with our Father God. More than I have been praying for. I will now pray God will do more than I can imagine in our relationship and more importantly in his faith walk with Jesus. That he will have a deeper understanding, love and unwavering relationship with his Heavenly Father. Oh Lord I lay it down. May you do a deep work. Deeper than I can imagine.
