Hope Floats on Troubled Waters

I felt led to re-share this post in light of the recent news that the “Spirit” ship has returned to its dock in the Dana Point harbor. This article carries the promise of hope and rescue and a strong word of exhortation from the Lord.

April 8, 2020. Prophetic Word Metaphor

There are two historical ships in the Dana Point harbor. Last week, one of the two great ships in Dana Point Harbor sunk. It was “The PILGRIM” The other ship was named “The SPIRIT of Dana Point.”

Prophetically Speaking:

A ship called Pilgrim 

In 1620 the Pilgrims came to America aboard the Mayflower in search of RELIGEOUS LIBERTY and a place to FLOURISH. (Mayflower means bloom) What makes our COUNTRY STRONG is the FREEDOM to LIVE, SPEAK and ACT according to our beliefs peaceably.

There are CRACKS on the ship! A demonic spirit of religion has leaked into the Western church. It was sent to SUPPRESS the Holy Spirit and put the church in BONDAGE. This religious spirit reeks of legalism and powerlessness. It breeds condemnation, oppression, and a lack of joy. …having a form of godliness but denying its power. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 – 

REJOICE, dear friends, because God is about to SINK the SPIRIT of RELIGION!

Interesting fact; The pilgrim was built 75 years ago…in 1945, and precisely 75 years ago, the first influenza vaccine was made. This month, China created the deadly flu called Covid. It was created to ASSAULT the FREE WORLD. What deadly thing will they produce NEXT? Likely a VACCINE?! …I daresay!!

The Spirit Ship

Our country is DROWNING in its SIN. Our churches are dry, SHALLOW HEARTED ships built on sandy shores. We need JESUS back at the HELM to navigate our vessels into His living water!

John 4:14 – but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

The only way to keep afloat is by a powerful MOVE of the SPIRIT of God!

Psalm 107:23 – Some went out on the SEA in SHIPS; they were merchants on the mighty waters. They saw the works of the LORD, His wonderful DEEDS in the DEEP.

A Cruise Ship

The modern-day church has grown FAT with PRIDE, GLUTTONY, AND VANITY issues. Christ’s church has become a party boat. CRUISING CHRISTIANS are more interested in STATUS, TITLES, and POSITIONS than in our Almighty God’s sovereign will. They are along for the ride if it’s going their way and fulfilling THEIR PURPOSES. They would rather talk about what they have done for God than what He has done for us.

Jesus, the great ship merchant, paid the highest price to purchase humanity. He bought us with His life. We are the pearls, the TREASURES of HIS HEART. Mathew -13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again and then, in his joy, went and sold all he had and bought that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

Ships of Mercy 

A ship called Mercy rides the wondrous waves to bring help and rescue to the poor in spirit. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 5:2

The poor, in spirit, are deeply aware of their desperate NEED for a SAVIOR. They are humble, teachable, and unimpressed with themselves. Their heart says, “I CAN’T, but I know a GOD who CAN, so I will BOW DOWN and believe in Him.” Those who put their HOPE in the Lord SHALL NOT SINK in these troubled waters!

Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy;

Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you. You have plowed wickedness; You have reaped iniquity. You have EATEN the fruit of LIES, Because you trusted in your own way, In the multitude of your mighty men. 

A promise of hope; If we sow seeds of repentance, we will reap the grace and mercy of God.

2 Chronicles 7:14 – IF my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Ships of Comfort 

Hospital ships are on the open seas, like BEACONS of HOPE in troubled waters. Jesus heals the hurt and comforts the afflicted. He is the life preserver on the ocean blue and the hope that floats on troubled waters. These great ships are rocked by the SWELLS of GOD’S COMPASSION and manned by the HEROS of humanity.

Psalm 104:3 – Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins, heals all your diseases, redeems your life from the pit, and crowns you with love and compassion.

Those who strengthen themselves in the Lord and put their faith in Jesus will NOT SINK!

Noahs Ark

Noah was a righteous man who OBEYED the voice of the LORD! He did not heed the VOICE of the PEOPLE, nor did he partner with the lies of satan.

God protected Noah and his family, the REMNANT. The ark was an epiphany for hope in troubled waters. Under His covering, He shut them in the ark and carried them through a SEASON of very ROUGH SEAS. Hope in troubled waters.

Today… (the day before Passover 2020), everyone is TUCKED IN their houses. The rain is pounding on my windows as the glass shudders. Demons are screaming lies, but I can’t hear them. The resounding VOICE of my FATHER is COMFORTING me and calming the STORM WITHIN. Our front door is marked with the blood of Jesus, and death is required to pass us by.

John 10:4 …His sheep follow him because they know his voice.  But they will never follow a stranger; they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”

I hear the Lord say, I’ve got you covered, sweet girl! You are SUBMERGED in the DEEP and safe in my wrap-around PRESENCE.

Be quiet….Be still… and WATCH as I CALM the stormy sea!

Wow, so much has happened since I released this prophetic metaphor in 2020!

Media lies continue like a raging sea, but we are unmoved by them. God IS carrying us through a difficult trial, calming the storm, and in some ways, He is the STORM. He drowned His enemies in Noah’s day, and He will surely SINK His enemies in ours. His Ecclesia remains safely hidden in the ark of His love, waiting for the door of promise to open to a land where the church will flourish again.

This week the “Spirit of Dana Point” was returned to its place in the harbor. It had a major overhaul, including a new wooden deck, masts, rigging, and sails. I read an article that stated, “While Kraus’ team worked on refurbishing the ship’s rigging, they found that the masts were too ROT-RIDDEN and had to be CONDEMNED.”

The verbiage caught my attention… Prophetically speaking, Some masts (Pillars in the church) have not lifted the sails (their arms) so that the ships can catch the coming wind of the spirit. Some who seem to be pillars are merely for show and have no solidity or burden-baring capacity. Their spongy flesh absorbs the elements, resulting in DRY ROT. They are ridden with wicked behavior (rot) and are being replaced so that the Kingdom of God can be established and the Spirit of God pursued.

I rode my bike down to see the Spirit ship today. The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful NEW MASTS! (representing new pillars in the church)

God is RAISING UP PILLARS that are UPRIGHT and will provide essential support. These torchbearers and champions will strengthen and fortify the body of Christ.

 

Part of the restoration is a changing of the guard. Three R’s; Jesus is Removing, Repositioning, and Restructuring… ARRR! – it makes me think about PIRATES! ☠️

Pirate Ships

Dark ocean riders have invaded the ships of civilization. They have plundered our goods, stricken our families, and stolen our children’s minds.

I wait patiently for the washing away of the demonic PIRATES in our land and on our seas. Like the gallows that Haman built, their ships are sinking into the very holes they prepared for us! – Esther 7:9.

But behold, the Lord will strip her of her possessions and STRIKE DOWN her POWER on the SEA, and she shall be devoured by fire…the king shall perish from Gaza. – Zechariah 9:4

As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will set your prisoners FREE from the WATERLESS pit. Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of HOPE; today, I declare that I will RESTORE to you DOUBLE! Zechariah 9:11-12

Double for your trouble! I am reminded that I got five double egg yokes (from different stores) this year. While making breakfast, Tiffany cracked open 10 DOUBLE egg yokes this month! Yes, 10!

Like the parting of the Red Sea, the number two means DIVIDE. (Exodus 14) It also means UNITY. (and the two shall become one) – Oh, how the Lord longs for the churches to cast off competition, UNIFY, and SAIL TOGETHER as ONE beautiful and powerful bride!

The number two also pertains to manifest power, testimony, those set apart, and Godly division. (Wheat and tares; Matthew 13:24-30. Sheep and goat; Mathew 25:32-33)

Saints, It is time to CROSS OVER to the other side. Get ready to SAIL the stormy seas with the WIND of God at your back and a fresh infilling of BOLDNESS, POWER, AND AUTHORITY from on high!
