Hope Floats in Troubled Waters
I felt led to re-share this post in light of the recent news that the “Spirit of Dana Point” has returned to its dock in the harbor. It carries the promise of hope and rescue, as well as a strong word of exhortation from the Lord.
Prophetic Word, April 8, 2020
There are two historical ships in the Dana Point harbor. Last week, one of the two great ships in Dana Point Harbor sunk. It was “The PILGRIM” The other ship is named “The SPIRIT of Dana Point.”

The Pilgrim
In 1620 the Pilgrims came to America aboard the Mayflower in search of RELIGEOUS LIBERTY and a place to FLOURISH. (Mayflower means bloom) What makes our COUNTRY STRONG is the FREEDOM to peaceably LIVE, SPEAK and ACT according to our beliefs.
There are CRACKS in the ship! A demonic spirit of religion has leaked into the Western church. It was sent to SUPPRESS the Holy Spirit and put the church in BONDAGE. This religious spirit reeks of legalism and powerlessness. It breeds condemnation, bondage, and a lack of joy. …having a form of godliness but denying its power. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 –
Rejoice dear friends because God is about to SINK the SPIRIT of RELIGION!
Interesting fact; The pilgrim was built 75 years ago…in 1945 and exactly 75 years ago the first influenza vaccine was made. This month, China created the deadly flu called Covid. It was created to ASSAULT the FREE WORLD. What deadly thing will they produce NEXT? Likely a VACCINE?! …I suspect!!
The Spirit of Dana Point
Our country is DROWNING in its own SIN. Our churches are dry, like SHALLOW HEARTED ships, built on sandy shores. We need JESUS back at the HELM! We need His living water!
John 4:14 – but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
There is only one way to keep afloat? By a powerful MOVE of the SPIRIT of God!
Psalm 107:23 – Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters. They saw the works of the LORD, His wonderful deeds in the deep.
Cruise Ship
The modern-day church has grown FAT with issues of PRIDE, GLUTTONY, AND VANITY. Christ’s church has become a party boat. CRUISING CHRISTIANS are more interested in STATUS, TITLES, and POSITIONS than they are in the sovereign will of our Almighty God. They are along for the ride as long as it’s going their way and fulfilling THEIR PURPOSES. They love to talk about what they have done for God rather than what He has done for us.
Jesus, the great ship merchant, paid the highest price, His life, to purchase humanity. We are the pearls, the TREASURES of HIS HEART. Mathew -13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
Mercy
A ship called Mercy rides the wondrous waves to bring help and rescue to the poor in spirit. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 5:2
The poor in spirit are deeply aware of their desperate NEED for a SAVIOR. They are humble, teachable, and unimpressed with themselves. Their heart says, “I CAN’T, but I know a GOD who CAN, so I will BOW DOWN and believe in Him.” Those who put their HOPE in the Lord SHALL NOT SINK in these troubled waters!
Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you. You have plowed wickedness; You have reaped iniquity. You have EATEN the fruit of LIES, Because you trusted in your own way, In the multitude of your mighty men.
A promise of hope; If we sow seeds of repentance, we will reap the grace and mercy of God.
2 Chronicles 7:14 – If… IF my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Comfort
Hospital ships are on the open seas, like BEACONS of HOPE in troubled waters. Jesus heals and comforts the hurt and afflicted. He is the hope that floats in troubled waters. These great ships are rocked by the SWELLS of GOD’S COMPASSION and manned by the HEROS of humanity.
Psalm 104:3 – Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion.
Those who strengthen themselves in the Lord and put their faith in Jesus will NOT SINK!
Noahs Ark
Noah was a righteous man who OBEYED the voice of the LORD! He did not heed the VOICE of the PEOPLE, nor did he partner with the lies of satan.
God protected Noah and his family, the REMNANT. Under His covering, He shut them in the ark and carried them through a SEASON of very ROUGH SEAS.
Today… (the day before Passover 2020), everyone is TUCKED IN their houses. The rain is pounding on my windows as the glass shudders. Demons are screaming lies, but I can’t hear them. The resounding VOICE of my FATHER is COMFORTING me and calming the storm within. I marked our door with the blood of Jesus.
John 10:4 …His sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”
I hear the Lord say, I’ve got you covered sweet girl! You are SUBMERGED in the DEEP and safe in my wrap-around PRESENCE.
Be quiet….Be still… and WATCH as I calm the raging sea!
Update, September 11, 2022
Much has happened since I released this prophetic metaphor in 2020. The Lord revealed and now has confirmed his word.
Media lies continue on like a raging sea, but we are unmoved by them. God IS carrying us through a difficult trial, He is calming the storm and in some ways, He is the STORM. He drowned His enemies in Noah’s day, and He will surely sink His enemies in ours. His Ecclesia is still safely hidden in the ark of His love, waiting for the door of promise to open to a land where the church will flourish once again.
This week the Spirit of Dana Point was returned to its place. It had a major overhaul including a new wooden deck, masts, rigging, and sails. I read an article that stated, “While Kraus’ team worked to refurbish the ship’s rigging, they found that the masts were too rot-ridden and had to be condemned.”
The verbiage caught my attention. Spiritually speaking… Some masts (Pillars in the church) have not lifted up the sails (their arms) so the ships can catch the coming wind of the spirit.
They are ridden with wicked behavior and need to be replaced so that the Kingdom of God can be established and the Spirit of God pursued.
The foundations of many Sanctuaries are now being RESTORED, and the Spirit of God has begun to blow fresh wind into the sails of His precious Ecclesia.
Get ready to cross over as we are about to sail the stormy seas with boldness, power, and authority!

Lord, We repent and weep over what we have become. Forgive us ABBA! We stand for Jesus and full of the Holy Spirit cry out for the lost, the hurt, the broken! Your will be done here on earth as it is in Heaven! We abandon the cruise ship and prepare our hands for battle. We are Your army !!!!
